Limits

  • The identifier is the field named id; no other field can be declared as it, because Remote keys its store by id.
  • A Selection has no filtering or ordering, and a page has no total; those belong to the interpreter that fetches.
  • A relation reaches only the entities of its own Entity.relate call; relate them again to add relations between them.
  • target() returns the entity as relate returned it: every member added since is on it (likeCount), but metadata annotated afterwards (CmsPost above) is on that new descriptor only, so annotate before relating when a target should carry it. Its type shows the members as related; read a later one as an AnyEntity.
  • A member is added once per Entity: two pipe chains from one descriptor that each add score are refused, as one chain adding it twice is. Adding the very spec again (Guards.may on a second view) is the member it added.
  • No registry: nothing checks that two different entities share a name.
